I had my first experience with property renovation at a young age when my Dad would bring me along to work on his rental properties. It didn't take long before I realized that I had developed a knack for it and how I was not afraid to take on challenging problems.
Fast forward a couple of decades, and these skills have proven invaluable both as a Realtor and a house flipper. Since I began as a Realtor in 2003, I have renovated 12 houses and helped dozens of other clients find the right home at the right price. Using this wealth of experience, I guide buyers' and sellers' decisions on how to prep their homes for sale, or how to maximize the equity in a new purchase with some well-planned updating. I demonstrated this ability as a buyers' agent in a 2012 episode of HGTV's My First Place.
I love this job because it offers the opportunity to make a real difference in my clients' quality of life. I consider some especially difficult transactions to be among my greatest professional achievements; my patience and ability to calmly navigate stressful situations are things that I routinely hear happy and satisfied clients talk about after we have celebrated closing the deal.
